Forest Honey

Forest honey is characterised by its dark colour and its strong, spicy flavour. Unlike traditional blossom honeys, it is produced mainly from honeydew, which bees collect from various woodland plants and trees. This gives it its characteristic, slightly malty flavour and a particularly intense aroma.

Depending on its origin and the nectar source, its colour can vary from a rich amber to a deep dark brown.
